Zotac introduces Blu-Ray 3D mini-PCs - PC Hardware - News & Features - ITP.net


Zotac International has announced its latest ZBOX, the ZBOX Blu-Ray 3D ID36 and ID36 Plus mini-PCs. The ID36 series targets the home entertainment sector and provides Blu-ray playback capability in a slim form factor.
The ZBOX Blu-Ray 3D ID36 and ID36 Plus are powered by a nVidia ION graphics processor with 512MB video RAM and features a HDMI 1.4 display port for 3DTV displays. Cyberlink's PowerDVD with Blu-ray 3D support is included to enable compatibility with Blu-ray 3D titles when using the Windows operating system.

"The slim form factor and stylish design makes the ZBOX Blu-ray 3D ID36 the perfect fit in any home theatre as well."
The latest barebones ZBOX Blu-ray 3D ID36 is customisable with internal expansion for one 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD. It features two DDR3 SO-DIMM slots and a mini-PCI Express slot. It has support for USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and eSATA external ports allowing connectivity to peripherals.
The ZBOX Blu-ray 3D ID36 Plus includes a 250GB hard drive and a 2GB DDR3 SO-DIMM module pre-installed. Both products have an Intel Atom D525 processor (1.8 GHz, dual-core) embedded in an Intel NM10 Express chipset and feature onboard 802.11n WiFi connectivity.
