GIGABYTE P67-UD7 Motherboard Review | Motherboards.org


Today’s launch of the Sandy Bridge CPU family and P6 series of motherboard chipsets is a major change in the marketplace with virtually every performance and mainstream user will be purchasing this combination if they are going for a new system on the Intel platform this year. The enthusiast platform will still be based upon the X58 and LGA-1366 CPUs until Intel releases their next enthusiast platform later this year if everything goes according to plan. The P67 platform replaces the P55 platform, while the H67 platform replaces the H55 platform.
GIGABYTE is a Tier-1 Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer that releases a slew of new boards whenever a new chipset is announced from either Intel or AMD. They generally distinguish their boards by the number at the end of the UD with the higher number boards having more features and overclocking abilities. Today, I’m reviewing the latest in their lineup based upon the P67 chipset, the P67A-UD7
